It's been a very busy week for me. Lots of changes have happened within my company. Still my commuting has been a constant thing...so is eating...and drinking. So here's another photo blog of my food and drink adventures. After all, a commuter's gotta eat...and drink too.
Starbucks Coffee, Trinoma Mall: Cinnamon Roll
I simply wanted a drink that could relax me so the barista suggested that I get camomile tea. Then she suggested that cinnamon roll would be a perfect combo with the drink. To my surprise, it wasn't just a cinnamon roll, it was a HUGE cinnamon roll. I couldn't finish it then so I had it cut in half and packed the rest of it. But it was delish.
Bon Chon, Robinson's Metro East: Chapchae
Korean style stir-fried noodles. This is one of two Korean dishes I've known that is not spicy. It's good with a sweet tasting sauce and noodles that easily slips off the fork. Tasty still.
Coffee Bean Bistro 25th street, Shangrila Plaza Mall
A friend of mine invited a group of us to join her for coffee here. The place was nice and at that time, we had background music care of Karylle--the entertainment center was just close by. Located at the new shopping wing of Shangrila Mall, this is one place that's good for relaxing and sharing stories with friends. Here are some of the things we've tried.
Fish and Chips: my fave dish anywhere
Half-pound House Burger
Decadent caramel brownie--I'm not sure of its name. But this is a nice combination of rich, dark, moist and fudgy chocolate brownie with caramel ripple to temper the bitter chocolate taste.
Bibingkinitan, SM City Masinag: Bibingka and Barako coffee combo
If you wanna go for a snack that's not too heavy to go with your daily coffee, this is a good combo to spend on.
121 Bar, Eastwood City, QC: Vodka sprite
If you ask me what my fave poison would be, that would be vodka. But I usually drink it with Sprite. This drink was a promo at the bar for people who work around Eastwood city. Too bad it was only until 5pm and til August 15. I wonder if they have other promos.
Graffiti bar: Eastwood City, QC: Garlic Mushroom
Not sure if that was the exact name, but my office mates think that this is to die for if you'd want to drink yourself silly. It is good with that buttery taste that's just gives the right amount of creaminess, and it has that sweet, garlicky flavor that blends everything nicely. Later on we realized that there was something else in it...finely crushed peanuts. Not bad at all!
The buck stops here...for now. I'll continue to share more food and travel adventures. Until then, ciao!
