Capture it! The Price of Progress

Nowadays, it's a nightmare to travel through Marcos Highway. If you're a commuter from Antipolo, or Cogeo, or Padilla area, you have no choice but to tread this major highway. While inside the jeep, with my digital camera, I decided to try and capture the scene.

Yup! It's traffic out here. This is the section in front of Robinsons East Mall, the lane going to Quezon City (Marcos Highway ends at Aurora Boulevard). The opposite lane goes back to Antipolo. On the side, you can see road works. There has been construction and improvements going on in various sections of Marcos Highway since 2009.

Here's one of the workers at the scene. He was directing traffic at this time. This is a candid shot. If it seems like he's posing, well, he isn't. Pretty cool huh! Keep up the good work guys!

It's gonna take awhile before we see the end of all the construction work and improvements being done along Marcos Highway. As long as we try to keep our roads safe and travel worthy, I think it's all worth it.

This is the Antipolo commuter wishing all fellow commuters a save and happy trip!
